With the implementation of the 12th Five-Year Plan, more and more manufacturing industries have placed their focus on the materials and equipments featuring energy-saving and environmental protection.  Under the 12th Five-Year Plan, the Chinese government put great emphasis on energy-saving and environmental protection, new materials and industry upgrade for future development, and is dedicated to the development of industries, such as smart grid, wind power, solar power and new energy cars, which are all closely linked to plastics and rubber.  Such plastics and rubber materials like high-tech materials, modified plastics, bio-plastics and specialty rubber as well as energy-saving processing machines will be favoured by more and more enterprises. This development trend together with government's proactive efforts to stimulate domestic demand will further enhance the plastics and rubber industries.
